Meet Our Team

Jim is a graduate of Yorktown High School, and earned a B.S. in Accounting from Ball State University in 1977. He has worked in public accounting since graduation, all with Muncie firms. He was previously on the Board of Directors of the Muncie-Delaware County Chamber of Commerce, is an active member at the YMCA, and is the Treasurer and past President of the Sunrise Rotary. He and his wife, Toni, are "empty-nesters" with both children (J.R. and Amy) now out of the house. Jim is committed to service clients and focuses on small-business consulting.

Although not a Muncie native, Patrick has been here long enough to know the ins and outs of our town. A graduate from Ball State University's Honor College with a B.S. in Accounting in 1991, Patrick has worked in public accounting since his graduation. Patrick is actively involved in many community activities. He is the Treasurer of Cornerstone Center for the Arts, a past president of the Muncie Children's Museum and the treasurer of Muncie Jaycees. He also is a past treasurer of Cub Scout Pack 303. Over the years, he has built a niche with community foundations/non-profit organizations and manufacturing companies. He resides in the Muncie area and has two grown children.

Andy is a graduate of Daleville High School. He attended Taylor University and graduated with a B.S. in Accounting and Systems Analysis. After spending over two years with a national accounting firm, he returned to the Muncie area to analyze internal controls and assess risks for a large company in Central Indiana for one year before deciding that public accounting was the best fit for him. Andy specializes in community foundation and non-profit auditing and consulting. Andy is currently the Treasurer of the Muncie Children's Museum and his church. He resides in Muncie with his wife and two children.

Zach is a Muncie native, and graduate of Muncie Southside High School. He earned his B.S. in Accounting from Ball State University, and works on audits, tax preparation, and bookkeeping services. He leads the Sunday School Department at his local church, with the help of his wife McKenzie.

Hanna is a graduate of Daleville High School. She attended IUPUI and graduated with a B.S. in Accounting and Finance and went on to earn a M.S. in Accounting from IUPUI. She works on audits, reviews, compilations, individual tax returns, and provides bookkeeping services. Hanna coaches middle school and high school cheerleading at Daleville alongside her sisters.

Albert is a graduate of Ball State University and graduated with a B.S. in Accounting in 2020. Albert has worked in public accounting since his graduation. Albert works on individual tax returns, business tax returns, consulting services, and provides bookkeeping services. He resides in Fairmount with his wife, Sam.

Joy began working in accounting in 1995. Since 1995, she has gained experience in both public and private accounting. Joy works closely with business clients meet a variety of needs including bookkeeping, processing payroll, preparation of payroll tax returns, and generating financial reports. Joy lives in the Selma area with her husband. Together, they have six children and four grandchildren.

A native of Muncie and a graduate of Indiana University, Al practiced public accounting for over 58 years until retiring in 2014 at the age of 80. He served as president of the Indiana CPA Society and as Chairman of the Board of the Muncie-Delaware County Chamber of Commerce, as well as being actively involved in the Muncie community. Al passed away on January 2, 2020 with his family by his side. He will be missed by all of us at EBS, and we will fondly remember him for his strong work ethic and dedication to his clients.
